Blind Draw Reference

How the Draw Works

Jack & Jill: Random male + female pairings when possible. If one side runs short, those players show up as leftovers.
ANB: Everyone goes into one pool, then the app shuffles and splits into random teams.
A/B Skill: Pairs one A player with one B player when possible. Blank skill players do not anchor teams in this mode.
2-Pot Blind: Pairs one stronger player with one field player when possible. In this app, A players are Pot 1 and everyone else is Pot 2.

2-Pot Blind Notes

This is still a blind draw. The app shuffles both pots first, then pairs one player from each side until one pot runs out.

If A players run out first: the extra field players go to unmatched.
If field players run out first: the extra A players go to unmatched.
Important: the app does not automatically build B + B teams in 2-Pot mode. Leftovers are shown clearly so you can handle them live if needed.

Cards and Team Display

Each team gets a card value for the blind draw board. If a player already has a manual card assigned in Sign-up, that manual card stays attached and is marked with a star in the draw results.

Jackpot Rules

Seed pot: starts at $100.
Tickets: every ticket adds $1 to the pot.
Targets: draw 3 unique numbers from 1–20.
Shooters: draw 2 shooters from the weighted ticket pool.
Win condition: hit all 3 triples to win the full pot.
No hit: the full pot rolls to the next round.
House rule: every dollar goes into the pot. Nothing is taken out. House call is final.

Quick FAQ

Do I need everyone marked A or B? No. Only 2-Pot and A/B Skill care about skill tags.
What if the room is lopsided? The app will still draw what it can and show leftovers cleanly.
Can the same shooter be drawn twice? Only if there is just one unique buyer in the ticket pool.
Does the app keep tonight’s state? Yes. Players, jackpot, and last draw stay saved in your browser on this device.
Does this replace your live call? No. It keeps the draw transparent, but your house ruling still decides edge cases.
